What a great place to get married! Woodmont Country Club is a beautiful venue. We love shooting there. Matt was able to get some great shots for the couple here is a quick overview of our work there.

The Sunset Room

A new wedding location in the DC area is the beautiful Sunset Room. this venue is located at the Nation Harbor and is quickly becoming the newest hot spot to have a wedding. We have been there several times and each time we go the beauty of the location is evident. Enjoy this quick highlight which captures the atmosphere in style.

2941 Restaurant

A beautiful location makes for a beautiful wedding. The 2941 Restaurant is one of our favorite venues as it is so pretty. there are water falls, gardens, and beautiful walkways which provide a perfect back drop to an outdoor wedding. As you can see this is a great place to get married.
Matt shot this wedding in September and has a great eye for catching all the details of the atmosphere.

Enchantment of the Seas Weddings

Have you ever thought of getting married on a ship and then taking off for a week honeymoon. We now are doing lots of weddings on Enchantment of the Seas Ships in Baltimore. What a fun way to get married. Your friends and family are present for the wedding and then you say good bye and take off on your honeymoon. Celebrations at the Bay

We absolutely love shooting weddings at Celebrations at the Bay not only is their food so wonderful the weddings and parties that they coordinate are always to perfection. Brandon who loves shooting at Celebrations always captures a great image with such a beautiful setting it is one of his favorite places to shoot.

A Wedding at Evergreen Museum

What a great place to have a wedding. This Museum is in Baltimore and has such a great atmosphere. Stephen shot and edited this wedding and has now become a main editor for us here at Video Express. Stephen has been shooting for Video Express for over a year and we are very excited to have him now as an editor. You can request to have Stephen as your shooter and you will be pleased to have someone who has a great eye for emotion and be looking for every great shot.

In October we shot a beautiful wedding at Meadowlark Gardens. Meadowlark Gardens is a great place to get married, it has a beautiful garden you can use for the wedding and then you can use the facitlity for an indoor reception. Milton Ridge - A Historical Venue

Weddings at historic Milton Ridge in Clarksburg, Maryland can sure be beautiful and with such a convent location between Gaithersburg and Frederick everyone can easily find it. Milton Ridge is a full service facility that can provide every service you need for your special day, from video to catering to hair and make-up. Their historic chapel offers a classically beautiful ceremony location with their similarly designed reception hall just a few steps away.

Annie & Andy - Stone Manor Inn

Annie and Andy were married May 25, 2008 at Stone Manor Country Club in Middletown, Maryland and Steve was their videographer. The 19th century manor sits on a 100 acre estate with a large garden tent for receptions and historic barn, pond, bridge and gazebo throughout the grounds. May 25th was a busy day for Video Express, and thankfully the weather was absolutely gorgeous. Andy and his father and friends took advantage of both the weather and manor grounds in a very unique way - by launching potato guns! Katherine & Stewart - March 29, 2008

Katherine & Stewart were married March 29, 2008, at Trinity UMC in McLean, Virginia with the reception following at The Arts Club of Washington, D.C. Jon was their videographer and managed to get great footage despite the strictness of the church. Many churches have very stern rules when it comes to videography and photography. We are often challenged to abide by the officiant and coordinator's wishes while still producing a quality emotional video. Looking at the video clip below, you'd never be able to tell that Jon had limited movement and location during the wedding. He did a wonderful job making the church wedding coordinator feel comfortable enough with his presence to allow him good positioning for the ceremony.

Jon says that his goal when videoing weddings is to make a family heirloom movie that will be enjoyed for years to come. He wants every bride to be proud to show off her finished video. Katherine and Stewart's video is no exception! Take a look at their slow motion summary, posted below.

Diane George - Covenant Weddings

Diane George is the Owner and Senior Consultant of the popular D.C-area based company Covenant Weddings. A member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and winner of the 2006 A-List award for "Best Wedding Planner", Diane and her talented team have been the creative force behind weddings and events in the metropolitan area since 1986. Video Express has had the pleasure of videoing numerous projects with Covenant Weddings, including Donnie Simpson's (WPGC 95.5) $140,000 Wedding Wish Giveaway in 2007.

Diane and her group of planners always do a fabulous job. They are professional, pleasant, and willing to make everyone's day enjoyable, whether you are a working vendor or the one walking down the aisle. Events run smoothly, look beautiful, and leave a lasting impression. Take a look at Toni & Anton's video below as an example. Sara and Brad - November 24, 2007 - University of Maryland College Park

Sara and Brad were married Thanksgiving weekend of 2007 at the University of Maryland Memorial Chapel with the reception following at the University of Maryland University College Inn and Conference Center (by Marriott). Video Express videos weddings at UMD at least a few times every season; our studio is close to campus and the chapel is a popular ceremony spot for College Park alumni, faculty, staff, and family. It is a beautiful church that looks great on video and welcomes ceremonies of all religious beliefs. The Inn and Conference Center does a wonderful job with receptions and is convenient to the chapel.

Tom did a great job capturing all of Sara and Brad's special moments. The weather was a little cold, but the sunshine made up for it on video! You can view their slow motion summary below. Sara and Brad are (surprisingly) the first couple to ever select the piano theme from the sweet movie Love Actually as one of the songs for their video and it worked beautifully. Paired with My Wish by Rascal Flatts, the clip is both visually and emotionally moving. Enjoy!

Carol Turner & Avi Klein - March 1, 2008 - National Press Club

Video Express was honored to video the wedding of Carol Turner and Avi Klein, married March 1, 2008, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Carol is a line producer for shows like "Dance War" on ABC and multiple comedy and music specials for HBO. The couples' wedding was profiled in the March 9 2008 edition New York Times (read the full article here) and primarily focused on how Carol and Avi met and became engaged. Mark Bargeski, owner and founder of Video Express, was their videographer. He can be seen in action in the photo below, getting great footage of Avi being lifted into the air during the traditional dance of the Hora.



Carol and Avi also learned a choreographed routine for their first dance, something that is becoming a popular trend at wedding receptions. Check out the clip below! Think they got advice from Carol's colleagues Bruno and Carrie Ann beforehand?

Kim and Grant were married on December 8, 2007. Their ceremony was held at Our Lady of the Visitation Parish in Darnestown, Maryland, with the wedding reception following at The Washington Club in Wasington, D.C. Jeanette was their videographer and they had a great first dance that really got the crowd going; take a look at it below.
